Astro Agency
We build very fast, well-ranked Astro websites: pre-generated pages, connected to your CMS, with interactivity only where it is useful.

Build your website with Astro
Astro is a framework built for content websites: institutional sites, catalogues, documentation, blogs, multilingual sites. It generates pages ahead of time and only ships the JavaScript the browser actually needs.
Its islands model is what makes the difference: the page stays lightweight HTML, and only the blocks that need to react (a simulator, a form, a map) load their code. Those blocks can be written in React, Vue or Svelte, so existing components can be reused.
This site is the proof: agencedebord.com runs on Astro. Since the migration, its pages score between 94 and 100 on mobile PageSpeed.
Astro websites adapted to each context
An institution wants a fast, accessible site that several editors can update easily.
A multilingual Astro site connected to a headless CMS, accessibility-compliant, rebuilt on each publication.
An SME wants a well-ranked product catalogue, with a configurator to request a quote.
A pre-generated Astro catalogue, with the configurator as a React island loaded only on product pages.
A software company wants documentation and a blog that load instantly.
Astro documentation fed with Markdown from the code repository, with built-in search.
A WordPress site that has become slow and fragile needs modernising without changing the editors' tool.
WordPress kept as the back-office, front rebuilt in Astro and served as static pages.
What we hold to on an Astro project, from page speed to the freedom of your content.
Measured speed
Mobile PageSpeed score checked before going live, not discovered afterwards.
Only the JavaScript you need
Each interactive island answers a real need; the rest of the page stays HTML.
Technical SEO
Metadata, structured data, sitemap and redirects set up during development.
Your CMS stays
Your current back-office (WordPress, Sanity, Directus) can stay in place: we only rebuild the front.
Accessibility
Contrast, headings and keyboard navigation checked page by page.
Portable hosting
Static files that deploy on Vercel, Netlify or your own server.
Smaller attack surface
No database or public back-office behind the site's pages.
Eco-design
Page and image weight weighed against the RGESN eco-design framework.

How we use Astro on your projects.
Astro when the site is mainly meant to be read: content, presentation pages, blog, documentation. Next.js when most of the action happens once logged in: dashboard, customer area, business application. Both can live side by side: the public site in Astro, the application in Next.js.
Astro reads content at publication time, from Markdown files or a CMS API: WordPress, Sanity, Directus, Strapi. Your editors keep their back-office, and the site is rebuilt automatically whenever content changes.
A contact form, a search or a members' area are still possible. Astro can serve some pages or routes from the server, and interactive islands only load when the visitor scrolls down to them.
What Astro actually brings to a project.
Less JavaScript means pages that display faster, especially on mobile. And for Google, display speed counts in the ranking when content is equal.
Since pages are generated ahead of time, no database or back-office is exposed on each visit. The site handles traffic spikes with no server to watch, and hosting stays simple and cheap.
Astro doesn't lock you in: content stays in your CMS or in Markdown, and interactive components are written in standard frameworks such as React.
What you get from Astro, in practice:
Pre-generated pages, served in milliseconds from a CDN
Full HTML on first load, readable by Google and AI assistants
JavaScript loaded only for interactive blocks
Built-in multilingual routing and sitemap
No database exposed on public pages
Reusable React, Vue or Svelte components inside islands
A process to digitize?
The first scoping is free, with no commitment.
Describe it in a few lines: you get a first reading of the need, the points to decide and a budget range.
